《弟子规》原名《训蒙文》是清代教育家李毓秀编写的三言韵文，依据孔子部分教诲编成的学童生活规范，采用《论语》“学而篇”第六条：“弟子入则孝，出则悌，谨而信，泛爱众而亲仁。行有余力，则以学文”的文义，并分为七个科目，即孝、悌、谨、信、爱众、亲仁、学文，前六项属于德育修养，学文属于智育修养，全文总计360句，1080字，内容涉及生活起居、衣服纽冠、行为仪止、道德品性、处世之道等。
《弟子规》的核心思想是儒家思想中的孝悌仁爱，已拍成电影《宝典传》，堪称道德教科书。
The original name of “Disciple’s Guidance” is “Xunmengwen”. It is a three-character rhyme written by Li Yuxiu, an educator in the Qing Dynasty. It is based on some teachings of Confucius and compiled the standard of life for school children. Filial piety means being humble when you go out, being prudent and trustworthy, loving the public and being benevolent to your loved ones. The core idea of “Disciple’s Guidance” is filial piety and benevolence in Confucianism. It has been made into a movie “The Biography of Baodian”, which can be called a moral textbook.
